Who we are | What we do
Founded in 2020 in Thessaloniki, KIKLO aims at transferring knowledge and technology developed by its founders at AUTH for the benefit of the society and economy.
Although new, KIKLO brings in the broad experience by its founders, who are highly experienced professors/researchers (4 MSc, 4 PhDs, 1 PhD candidate) that during the last 10 years have participated in more than 95 funded research projects, in the fields of Photogrammetry, Remote Sensing, Laser scanning, Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs), and Geographic Information Systems (GIS).
KIKLO is a spin-off company of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTH)
Furthermore, KIKLO aspires to develop and bring to market Novel and Innovative technologies and products in the fields of Close-range, Aerial and Satellite imagery analysis, Location-based services, and Geo-spatial analysis. KIKLO’s main asset are its people.
Experienced and early-stage researchers from various backgrounds and expertise (ie. Remote Sensing, Surveying, GIS, GPS, Computer Science, Forestry, Urban engineering, Mechanical engineering, Social Sciences, Finances) cover the wide range of fields, which is necessary to effectively tackle complex, cross-disciplinary challenges.
