KIKLO is a newly established (March 2020) spin-off company of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTH).

KIKLO’s main aim is to transfer and exploit the technology developed in various research projects implemented by its founders at AUTH in the research fields of Photogrammetry, Remote Sensing, Laser scanning, Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs), and Geographic Information Systems (GIS). Furthermore, KIKLO aspires to develop and bring to market Novel and Innovative technologies and products in the fields of Close-range, Aerial and Satellite imagery analysis, Location-based services, Spatial analysis, Geo-registration, Visualization of Cultural Heritage, Medical applications, etc.

Although new, KIKLO brings in a broad experience owned by its founders, who are are highly experienced professors/researchers (4 MSc, 3 PhDs, 1 PhD candidate) that during the last 10 years have participated in more than 91 funded research projects, providing scientific expertise and service to the above scientific areas, accounting for more than 8 M€.

KIKLO has a critical mass of good quality research in several areas of Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing, GIS, spatial analysis, location-based services with more than 90 scientific publications and papers in national and international journals and conferences over the last 5 years. Finally, our research staff has received numerous personal awards and scholarships.
