European Researchers’ Night

Universities and research facilities around the world are getting ready for an exciting event: Researchers’ Night 2023—which takes place as fall approaches and winter draws near. This yearly academic night is set for September 29, 2023, and is expected to be an evening full of discovery, creativity, and intellectual illumination. This year’s Researchers’ Night is expected to demonstrate the transformative power of research and its significant influence on society, taking inspiration from previous iterations of the event.

An International Day of Knowledge
Researchers’ Night is an international celebration of knowledge and creativity that is not limited to any one university or geographic area. On this remarkable evening, universities and research centres across the globe open their doors to the public, providing a window into the core of academic inquiry. Universities all across the world, from Europe to Africa and Asia to North America, are dedicated to distributing the results of their research to society as a whole.

Making connections is the main goal of European Researchers’ Night, even outside of the lab benches and lecture halls. This annual celebration emphasizes the value of community involvement in the search for knowledge in addition to providing entertainment and education. The university hopes to promote a feeling of community and cooperation between the local community and the academic institution by welcoming the public. The European Researchers’ Night is a Europe-wide public event, which displays the diversity of science and its impact on citizens’ daily lives in fun, inspiring ways.

The European Researchers’ Night aims to

The event will be hosted at the Thessaloniki Concert Hall building M2, on September 29, 2023,  from 17.00 to 22.00. Free entrance.
