KIKLO Showcases PREPARE Project at the OHDSI Europe Community Call

KIKLO was pleased to participate in the OHDSI Europe Community Call, an online event that brought together researchers, healthcare professionals, and innovators to explore the winning OH! Factor pitch and the ideas behind the “Between-the-Visits” initiative.

During the event, KIKLO presented the PREPARE Project through the poster #61 “PREPARE Project Uses OHDSI Tools for Privacy-Preserving Clinical Prediction: A Unified ETL Strategy for Nine Clinical Datasets.” The presentation demonstrated how the project leverages the OHDSI ecosystem to harmonize heterogeneous clinical datasets using a unified ETL strategy, enabling privacy-preserving clinical prediction and supporting interoperable, trustworthy health data analytics across multiple institutions.

KIKLO was also represented by Themis Roustanis, who presented the concepts underpinning the “Between-the-Visits” initiative. His presentation highlighted how standardized health data and the OHDSI framework can support continuous, privacy-preserving clinical prediction beyond traditional healthcare encounters, fostering more proactive and data-driven patient care.

The event provided an excellent opportunity to exchange knowledge with the OHDSI community, showcase the innovative work carried out within the PREPARE Project, and strengthen collaborations among researchers, healthcare organizations, and technology providers committed to advancing data-driven healthcare.
