KIKLO participates at OHDSI Europe Symposium 2026
KIKLO participated in the OHDSI Europe 2026 Symposium, which took place on April 18-20 in Rotterdam, the Netherlands, with 375 participants, 130 approved posters, and 15 software demos.
The participation of the PREPARE team was strong, with 3 posters:
- “Experiences with OMOPping Rehabilitation Data: A Unified ETL Strategy for Nine Distinct Clinical Datasets”,
- “PREPARE for Precision: Patient-level prediction models for nonsurgical thumb base osteoarthritis treatment”,
- “An Iterative Annotation Pipeline for Building Clinical Datasets and Training Information Extraction Models: The PREPARE Project”
and a software demonstration
- “A Semi-Automated Pipeline for Extracting and Standardizing Clinical Concepts from Unstructured Medical Records”.
Together with the PREPARE team members, we had the opportunity to participate in the conference and actively contribute by presenting three posters that highlight different facets of our project’s ongoing work with Petros Patias, Ruud Selles, Erik Calcina, Janssen, Esther Janssen, Krijn Polder, Lisa Hoogendam.
From research design to implementation and results, each poster reflected a distinct perspective of our collective effort. Engaging with the community, exchanging ideas, and receiving valuable feedback made this experience especially meaningful.
